Stenodisc
Stenodisc puts each request your AI assistant wants to send on your phone for approval, then keeps the record of what the service did with it.

One streetlight report, from Claude to the city
Tallmere is a fictional city. Its 311 service follows Open311 GeoReport v2, a published standard for city service requests.
Claude asks before it files
You tell Claude that the streetlight in front of 700 Cedar St has been out for a week. Claude looks for open city reports within 150 meters, writes the report, and sends it to your phone.
The screen shows the report's text, where it goes, the checks Claude passed, and when the request expires. You tap Approve.

Tallmere 311 files it as request #4200. In the staff queue it carries a green Approved by a person badge with receipt rcpt_4rq89k. Reports that came in by phone or web form have no badge.

Tallmere's staff queue. Reports #4203 and #4200 came through Stenodisc. You confirm the repair
The city assigns a streets crew 12 hours after filing. Two days after filing it marks the light repaired, and you confirm the fix two hours later.
The report's history lists every step with the time and who took it: Claude, you, Stenodisc, or the city.

Each example comes from the same Tallmere test run.
The limits an assistant works within
Stenodisc checks a request against your limits before it reaches you. In Tallmere, Claude could report street problems, three a day, and each request expired after 24 hours. Power outages went to the utility's own line.

The checks as the streetlight request's approval screen lists them Whether a likely duplicate goes out
When the city already has an open report nearby, the approval screen shows it next to Claude's reason for filing anyway. At 300 Front St the open report covered the bus shelter, and Claude's covered the library wall. The resident declined it.

The warning about open report #4107 Whether the city's closure stands
When the city closes a report, you can confirm it or tap Still broken. The city marked the fallen branch at 200 Mill St cleared while it was still on the sidewalk, so the resident disputed it.
The history shows the city's closure and the dispute in order, each under the name of whoever made it.
